Type: Bb / A+ / F extension: the built-in F extension is
operated by a 2nd thumb lever, rather than by the little ('pinky')
finger, as on e.g. Alexander's version of the Sansone model.
Bell throat profile: medium
Alloy: lacquered yellow brass; gold brass leadpipe.
Bell flare: detachable.
Water key: conventional type, on the leadpipe.
Valve compression: excellent
Visual / cosmetic condition: excellent. Its only blemish is a small
'lacquer bleed' near the leadpipe stay.
Case: Paxman
Further details:
This horn is in 'as new' condition.
Its owner bought it brand new (ex-demo) from
Paxman in 2014 and has never ever played it
in a concert; it has been used very occasionally as a
practice instrument.
