A lovely Alexander 103 about 30 years old.

Made of lacquered gold brass, with a fixed bell, this horn plays beautifully, its playing qualities embracing all the well-known timeless virtues of the Model 103, which include a crisply responsive 'start-up time' and a confidence-inspiring high register with wonderfully slotted pitch centres.

There is some lacquer wear and there are a few very tiny cosmetic dings, but there is nothing mechanically or acoustically that affects the way it performs.

The rotors have very good compression. Their linkages

are mechanical / miniball.

The horn is fitted with an Alexander adjustable finger hook,

and comes in its original 'moc-croc' case.

Overall, an excellent Alexander 103

at a very competitive price.
