Visual/cosmetic condition: very good; there are a
few places where repairs have caused some lacquer
loss. A few dings and lacquer scuffs here and there
show that the horn has had normal
daily use. However, these are merely cosmetic
issues, with no effect on the horn's
excellent playing qualities.
The high register has the usual, expected Paxman
'well slotted' character, and the F side is very free
and open, compared to many tighter-blowing
Medium horns.
