A free-blowing and rich-toned COMPENSATING
DOUBLE horn in F/Bb or Bb/F, beautifully
enhanced by PAXMAN's legendary clarity and
security in the high register.
A Gold brass' New World' model, it dates from an era
when all Paxman horns and their components were UK-
made: the mid-1970s.
Its large bell throat can easily and instantly be
'converted' to a narrower size by skilful, exploratory use
of the right hand in the 'middle of the bell throat'.
Amazingly effective in its focussing and 'condensing'
of the sound, this useful technique has been employed
successfully by many of those leading players who
favour the free-blowing qualities of 'large' rather
than 'medium' horns.
This lovely horn comes with a 'Bags' case.
