2nd hand CROOKS in E flat, D, F, G and A:

 

low pitch, by GBMS, made in China. 

 

The D, Eb and F crooks are priced at £55 each; 

the G and A crooks are £50 each. 

 

There are minor 'signs of use' on these crooks:

 

lacquer wear on the tenons and a few tiny dings.

 

 

• Fit GBMS hand horn receiver perfectly.

 The tenons  (the 'plug-in' end) fit about   halfway into

 Webb or old-style 

 Paxman crook receivers (1982- c.2000)

 

•    Play at  A 440 pitch with the GBMS hand horn, 

   

   whose body length is slightly shorter than most

   

   French original or modern reproduction horns.

 

•    Play at A 435-A430 pitch with conventional length             

   hand horns, e.g. Webb or Paxman.

 

•   Outer diameter of tenon at narrowest point: 12.75 mm;

     

  13.5mm diameter, 2 centimetres further up the tenon.

 

•   Inner diameter of tenon 11 mm
