Model: 103 bell flare.
Alloy: unlacquered gold brass.
Bell throat profile: medium.
Visual condition: very good. There are a few very
tiny dings and blemishes, but these are purely
cosmetic issues with no apparent effect on the way the bell
flare sounds and feels. A few stubborn water
spots can easily be removed by either 'Brasso'
(wadding, not the ammonia-smelling liquid) or even
toothpaste on a cloth.
The other rather lightly tarnished areas will polish to
a shine, with some moderately hard work!
Weight: quite light, 335 gm / 12.5 oz.
Give your Alex 103 some extra 'ring and zing' with
this nicely lightweight bell!
