W. BROWN & SONS Sauterelle and 2 alternative slide bows

A very good vintage sauterelle that could be used with a French or French-style piston horn.
This modular piston valve section was hand-made by the renowned London maker W. Brown & Sons, whose working period began in the last two decades of the 19th century and ended well into the 20th century.

The 3 pistons have very good compression.
Included are two alternative 'bows' for the tuning slide so that it could be re-fashioned to fit a piston horn with slightly narrower dimensions in its 'mid-section'.
