Type/Model:  leadpipe bent for Conn 8D or Kruspe

Alloy: nickel silver.

Good condition, but with one small blemish where there is evidence of

a dent ball repair (see photo #3 ).

Supplied with main slide 'inner' connector/tenon (see photo).

Amado/Getzen water key.

Further details: very good high register; 'moderately resistant' back

pressure, similar to a typical Elkhart leadpipe.

This 'Olds' leadpipe is interesting in that its lack of a protective

'chemise' (sleeve) in its first 19-20 cm means that its rate of taper

can be measured fairly accurately, if a consistent wall thickness can be

assumed.
