A lovely player with a superb high register and a

surprisingly full, rich, 'complex' sound.

In common with many East German-made horns with a 5th valve (A+), its stopping 'H-piece' is slightly too long for well-tuned stopped notes. However, with good, tight, right hand technique, without the H-piece, the A slide pulled a long way out gives excellent stopped notes.

Case: Thomann, lightweight, with backpack straps.

NB:

This horn is currently with its owner in Brecon, Wales, UK.
