W. BROWN & SONS VINTAGE PISTON / HAND HORN with 2 crooks

This horn is one of three W. Brown & Sons instruments in a former private collection which is now being dispersed.

 

Specifications: 3 Périnet valves as a detachable sauterelle with 11.2 mm central bore. Crooks: F (silver plated) and A; 2 tubes to replace the sauterelle for hand horn playing.

Inscribed on the garland: W. BROWN & SONS MAKERS 323 KENNINGTON ROAD LONDON No 1004.

There is no case, but several suitable cases are available at reasonable cost.
