MOZART'S masterpiece for 12 wind instruments and

double-bass, formerly known as the '13 Wind

Serenade'

is  joyfully and sensitively performed here by the beautifully blended period-instrument Wind Soloists of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightment, conducted by Tony Halstead.
The heavenly slow movement, (notably featured in the film 'Amadeus'), is here graced by the sublime playing of Anthony Robson, oboe, Antony Pay, clarinet, and Colin Lawson, basset horn.
Andrew Clark leads the irrepressible section of four warmly sonorous natural horns, and Chi-Chi Nwanoku is the superb double-bass player.

P&P: £2.90 UK; £5.50 all other destinations.
