This horn is one of several superb W. Brown & Sons instruments from a private collection which has now been dispersed.

 

Specifications: 3 Périnet valves as a

 

detachable sauterelle with 11.2 mm central bore;

 

nickel plated tuning slides.

 

Crooks: F (not by Brown) and A.

 

Collapsible (for hand horn playing) finger hook.

 

Inscribed on the garland: W. BROWN & SONS MAKERS

 

323 KENNINGTON ROAD LONDON No 1019.
