A 'classic' nickel-silver USA-made 'Medium-Large' very free-blowing horn, this Holton model H-379 was very recently fully overhauled and serviced; its formerly worn lacquer has been professionally stripped and the horn polished all over.
It is fitted with an 'Amado/Getzen' water key, not normally found on this model. Included in the price is a very good silver-plated Holton-Farkas 'MDC' mouthpiece, and a strong hard case in good condition.
This excellent horn plays with a very even, consistent, free-blowing response over the whole range.
Its very reasonable price reflects a few slight cosmetic surface blemishes, none of which have any effect on the way it plays.
PRICE COMPARISON: A new H-379 currently costs £3,682 (best discount price); our current horn is priced at less than 33% of that!
