ITS SILVER PLATE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, THIS

VINTAGE SINGLE F  BY ALEXANDER plays with a

broad, rich sound and is ideal as a warm-up horn,

where the lip-cushioning effect of the long tube can be

felt and enjoyed.

4th horn players could use this lovely horn in concerts,

contextually and selectively, depending on the repertoire.

Rotor compression is 'as new';  of course the horn is

visually attractive, and very light in weight:  1.78 kg.

There are a few tiny 'pencil point' dings but absolutely

nothing that detracts from its beautiful playing.

It plays 'OK' with a standard UK/American 'Morse #0' taper

mouthpiece, but plays even better with a European shank

taper!
