ALEXANDER 103, VINTAGE 1935
£2,950.00
Recently fully overhauled and re-lacquered, an
absolutely extraordinary 'piece of horn history' and
more particularly 'Alexander history'.
Almost a 'one owner' horn, this very lightweight
Alexander 103 was bought new in 1935 and
subsequently played in the Hallé and the
Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestras.
The instrument is in remarkable playing condition for its
age; its bell shows a few signs of repair, with 3 patches.
This lovely horn's current owner is the son of its first
owner; it can be seen and played in South-West U.K.
