BOOSEY & Co Piston horn with detachable bell

A fine Boosey 'Class A' piston horn with a detachable bell flare and crooks for F, Eb and G. Its serial number shows that it was made in 1929-1930.

Its pistons are detachable but, since the inlet and outlet ports are not in a straight line, for hand horn playing it would need a wider tuning slide as well as the usual 2 replacement tubes.

Its recently revised price includes a compact screw-bell gig-bag.If this is not required, £50 can be deducted from the price.
