Bell throat profile: medium

Alloy: lacquered yellow brass with a gold brass leadpipe, resistant to the internal corrosion which sometimes occurs in yellow brass pipes.

Bell flare: detachable

Valve compression: very good

Visual condition: there is some slight lacquer wear in the ‘expected places’ and a few very minor dings and scratches, but these are purely cosmetic issues having no effect on the instrument’s fine playing qualities.

Cases: 1) Original Yamaha hard ‘suitcase’ in good condition. 2) Marcus Bonna compact MB 1 in good condition. Both cases are included in the price.

Water key: conventional type, on the leadpipe.

Further details: With ‘all the notes in all the right places’ and a clear, ringing sound, this excellent, inexpensive  horn is exactly right for a young, improving player who is upgrading from a single or a ‘mini’ horn.
