PAXMAN 25L with TITANIUM ROTORS and 2 bells

This lovely Paxman 25L, serial number 3934T, in unlacquered yellow brass,  comes in a Paxman 'Bonna style' case, and with two bell flares: its original yellow brass flare and a newer silver-plated nickel silver one, 5 years old. Its titanium rotors make it quite a lot lighter than a standard Paxman double.

Both the bell flares are quite heavy (465gm and 445gm) and give the horn an amazingly 'clear and direct' quality in its sound, with an ability to 'cut through' an entire symphony orchestra's louder decibel levels, especially with the silver flare. The brass flare could be regarded as ideal for a chamber group or chamber orchestra.

The horn plays wonderfully over the entire range and is a superb, highly desirable instrument in every way.

NB: If only one flare is wanted (it's not possible to fit both flares in the case), a reasonable price reduction would be possible.
