Alloy: lacquered yellow brass with gold brass leadpipe.

Bell flare:  detachable

Adjustable thumb lever

Appearance: good, apart from some very minor blemishes, purely cosmetic issues that do not detract from the horn’s fine playing qualities. There is a small patch on the leadpipe where there was formerly a water key.

Valve compression: excellent

Case: original Hoyer detachable bell case in ‘as new’ condition, please see the photo.

Further details:  a wonderful  player with great overall ‘freedom of blow’. This superb Hoyer horn was designed, in collaboration with the legendary USA players, Myron Bloom and Vince de Rosa, to be a worthy (and in many ways superior) successor to the much-sought-after ‘Elkhart Conn 8D’.
