We have received for consignment

sale a batch of used copies of 'Absent

Soloists' CDs,  comprising the orchestral

accompaniments of  Mozart's four horn concertos

and Haydn's 1^st concerto: each CD comprising ONE

concerto, at three different speeds and two

different   pitches - 'modern' (A=440) and 'classical'

(A=430).

Performing these masterpieces of horn literature,

very stylishly, without the horn soloist, is the superb

Pantheon Orchestra, a flexible chamber ensemble of 20

top London musicians, recorded in a warm but detailed

church acoustic.

These popular, ingenious study/practice CDs have

unfortunately been out of production (as brand-new

compact discs) for several years.

We have played these 2^nd hand copies in real-time to

make  sure that they are fully operational.

FIVE DIFFERENT CDs:

'AS2': Mozart concerto 2 in E flat, K417

'AS3': Mozart concerto 3 in E flat, K447

'AS4': Mozart concerto 4 in E flat, K495
