A very fine example of the 'iconic' Alexander 107 Bb/A+/F alto. In lacquered gold brass, with a detachable bell flare, it is in generally very good mechanical and acoustical condition. There are a few purely 'cosmetic' imperfections but the instrument plays superbly. It has just had a full valve overhaul, so, the rotors are beautifully smooth, quick and silent, even the somewhat 'notorious'  double rocker ones giving the change to F alto!

Its owner is ‘blessed’ with an awesome high register(!), consequently the horn feels incredibly ‘blown in’ at the top end in particular. Of course, this is the very area where a descant horn really 'comes into its own'.

Overall, a great alto horn at a very attractive price.

It comes in its original Alexander ‘mock-croc’ flat suitcase, in 'well used' condition.
