Cosmetic condition: very good; a few superficial
‘non-acoustical’ dings are merely visual blemishes,
not 'playing issues'.
This horn has a comfortable left hand position for a
medium-to-small hand: distance from finger hook
to 4th valve lever is 9.7 cm.
Mouthpiece: Yamaha, silver plated, very good
condition.
Case: hard case in good condition, but very heavy.
A superb lightweight new case with backpack straps
can be supplied for £90.
Further details: I am selling this excellent horn on
behalf of Gerry Birch Music Services. It was recently
fully overhauled and serviced in the GBMS
workshop in South East Kent, UK, where it can be
seen and tried.
With ‘all the notes in all the right places’ and a
clear, ringing sound, this excellent,
inexpensive horn is exactly right for e.g. a young
improving player upgrading from an F or Bb
single ‘mini’ horn.
